In December 2020, he founded 521 Capital, a solo capitalist venture investment firm focusing on innovative early-stage companies within the global technology sector that seek to achieve superior societal returns. Prior to that, he served as a Managing Director & Senior Partner with Kynikos Associates, a globally focused hedge fund known for its unique investment acumen & fundamental research. During his 27 years with Kynikos Associates, he served as a co-portfolio manager, global research director & investment analyst. He began his career in finance as an investment banking analyst with Morgan Stanley.
